- budzai6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Gabrielmojo26 Khmmm... play Wraith in it and you see some... hehe.
Well, 1 thing that is really really annoying:
If I try to loot, the loot in my crosshairs is not the one I get!
Seems the loot behind my head is the one I pick up...
Crazy, I rally don't understand why the crosshair isn't used for aiming at loot.
- @Flashshark1980 The aim is Terrible in their 3rd person mode. Everything from item pickup to grenade projectile to bullet/sight alignment is horribly adjusted. I felt like i was playing ONI from early 2000s; but ONI felt better than this mode haha
It's definiitely different, but I won't miss it when it's gone.
I think they screwed up big time on making this the game mode available on the weekend.
Nope. Nope nope nope nope nope.
I hate to hate on things others might enjoy, but this one is NOT for me. It just feels plain wrong.
First impression: there's a legend in my eye! I'm getting dizzy!
I spent 30 seconds trying to pick up the weapon that I wanted but was between other 3 items. My teammates got killed and asked me why am I looting 🙂. I went in the fight with what I ended up picking eventually, but i was using Gibby, so the gun shield actually blocked my view... Was hesitant about skipping this mode, then game froze in legend selection, making it a certainty.
Neeeext!
- @FateAries washing the dishes is also a change for a minute :P
3rd person mode sucks.
It’s a good idea, but y’all have missed the mark a little. The camera angle should be just above the head and to the right. As it is it’s basically straight out right from the shoulder. So your Legend is blocking visibility unless you aim at the ground. Some tweaking is needed.
This is a good idea and I hope in the future it becomes a permanent OPTION. Every player should have the option of first or third person that’s switchable in-game. We should also have the option to have the crosshairs switchable to either side of the weapon being used.
Also, like others have stated above, there is something off with loot/environment interaction.
Anyway, I applaud the efforts to implement third person and it is very rewarding being able to see the Legend you are playing. This is the right direction but it does need a little work.
Remember, third person camera should be just above the head and slightly to to right of the shoulder. You should be able to look forward without impairing visibility.
- Gabrielmojo266 years agoSeasoned Ace@DarthVaapar It shouldn’t be an option imo, players are favouring the right hand peak way too much, changes the game’s mechanics and dynamics.
