- @soccerking122 Exact opposite for me as it is the only tolerable arenas map. I uber hate that Oasis map. I had one game where the opponent was always going down the basement during the last circle so the match would end with a heal-off.
@soccerking122 i tend to play the roomed areas on the sides for overflow, much easier to hold as rampart.
Oasis I'm with cheese on though....hate the POI normally, hate it in arena too lol.
- @soccerking122 That's my fave Arenas map!
Advice?
There's plenty of cover - get behind it.
Don't go to the room in the middle(ish). One side is too open and you run the risk of a grenade spam or Caustic ult.
Select medium range weapons over CQC ones.
Stick together.
Grab materials on round one, don't worry about winning/losing (although do try to win if possible!)
Share batts/heals
Play a legend with an escape ability
Keep on the raised areas - don't go 'ground floor' unless necessary - @MandatoryIDtag Oasis is a very fun place to drop in BR. All the greedy people go down to get the good stuff. Then you kill them from above.
I'm shocked it is an arenas map tho. Havent played it but seems like it would be terrible. @EdwardDLuffyI second this, Overflow is definitely my favorite arenas map so far.
I was talking with friends the other day about favorite and least favorite Arena maps and the consensus was that most people don’t enjoy the Olympus Arena maps as a whole, and i think it may have something to do with the *brightness* on every Olympus map.
Maybe the problem could be solved if they just change the time of day to sunset or night, idk….- @hayhor The 'downstairs is blocked off
- @EdwardDLuffy That makes sense but how come cheeseman said his games end in heal offs.
- @hayhor That happens when you are on the open section of one of the buildings and the enemies are in the same building below you
- @EdwardDLuffy Oh ok. I see.
