Vault Peacekeeper

It's not a no skill gun but it still singlehandedly ruins the enjoyment. I don't even mind an upgraded Wingman, but the stupid Peacekeeper (especially with PC) is the most rage inducing weapon that i ever went against in all of my gaming years.Its spread AND damage is way too good in close quarters.

Give it hardcore dmg dalloff and consistent spread.

Wait. You're saying a shotgun, a weapon designed to do tremendous damage in close quarters, is too strong in close quarters? Wow. Just wow. 

You're right. Instead of arguing that the pellet count is too high you made it sound like you were complaining about how devastating a shotgun is at close range. You mentioned spread and damage. Both go hand in hand. What matters is the pellet count. Reducing it is a good way of balancing a shotgun's damage without completely destroying it. Mess with range and it loses its role. You could mess with the damage too, reduce how much each pellet does so a maximum splash doesn't hit as hard as it used to. I was half awake when i answered you so I might have been mistaken. It just sounded like you were complaining about a shotgun being such a threat in close quarters. I've actually seen that argument across multiple games in the past. 

When you are 1 shotted with level 3 gear... it's OP

1vs1 even in open area can make a peacekeeper owner make a kill even if the HP difference is huge. 

Mozabiqe for example is a shotgun too but damage is so bad it worse gun in the game. they need to reduce damage of peacekeepr to min unless its a direct hit to the face

I think that up close it makes sense that the shotguns are the most powerful weapon in a game. In real life even if you have a bulletproof vest on a shotgun blast from close up is going to down you and you won't be getting up. If you've never seen how powerful a shotgun is I would recommend taking a look at some videos online. I've seen a bulletproof vest shot up close with a shotgun and while it didn't exit the vest the impact is enough to kill someone. It makes sense that in-game the shotgun is so powerful.

Wait your saying an AR, a weapon designed to effectively kill at ANY range is beat by a shotgun?

The utter lack of skill it takes to run a shotgun vs an AR or sub and people's obsession with the " it's a shotgun" argument baffles me. How do you not agree that shotguns are imbalanced? It takes 2 accurate trigger pulls with a hip fire reticle larger than character models to knock an opponent. It takes 15 accurate trigger pulls to knock an opponent with a p2020..or 10 accurately tracked hit markers with a r 301. If a peace keeper does 100 dmg across 10 pellets and a p2020 does 10 dmg per bullet are you seriously trying to imply that a single shotgun pellet does the same dmg as a 9mm bullet? So two trigger pulls vs 15? Yeah seems balanced...especially on drop where pretty much whoever gets the shotty comes out alive

In my opinion the Peacekeeper Damage should be reduced by 10% 

Mosamweak should carry 5 rounds minimum. 6 would be better. 

The autoshotgun is okay i think.

I don't know about you but the only time I've gotten an "instakill" with the peacekeeper is when the enemy had no shields and a was low on health, every other time, even at close range it's taken minimum 2 shots to down them. I know 2 shots seems OP to alot of people as well but it's a shotgun, weapons that are designed to obliterate anything within thier path close quarters. If it was two shots at AR range then yeah but it's not.

But still, if you think shotguns shouldn't be deadly at longer ranges well..
