Want to make Caustic relevant? Make his gas prevent gunfire

Proposal: if your Legend is caught in the gas, they're wheezing/malfunctioning too much to fire either weapon they're carrying. I would rather that Legends that end up in his gas are unable to fire ...

@NullEffective9 As nasher mentioned that would be crazy OP. Worse than any ability in the game now.

As a former caustic main and someone who still plays him in ltms I don't seem to have an issue with where he is at. If people push through your gas they slow and highlight allowing you to easily shoot them.

Biggest issues I see with players using him: They throw barrels or try and equip and throw the ult when being shot. Or a wounded caustic runs into a room, tosses and barrel and then starts to heal, assuming the enemy won't push. If the enemy is healthy and decent at the game they will know how to do it so caustic has to be ready for that.

@hayhorWhile I do agree that we don’t need op forced weapon hiding in the game (even though that’s already coming in the shape of ballistic next season 🙄) I do think caustic definitely needs buffs. Also idk how you see enemies hiding in gas, it NEVER works for me. Caustic barrels need to be indestructible again, at this point catalyst is just Caustic premium. Having the traps be indestructible again would make it so there’s an actual difference in their abilities. I don’t know how they expect people to buy his prestige skin if they don’t buff him.

Digital threat 1x or the big 4x-10x 😉 works for bangs smoke as well.
I do agree the canisters need to be indestructible again.

@BigMacAttack8u Catalyst needs nerfs, caustic doesn't need buffs. A catalyst enforced door should become destroyable with a gun, like a caustic trap. Her sludge should not cover as much area and should be more easily destroy able. Either that or it shouldn't slow AND damage.
