With the recent changes to Alternator SMG it's becoming a favourite of mine, as long as you have the mods for it.  Good damage and ruins shields. I'm a massive fan. 
 
The G7 Scout is okay I think the bullet drop is a bit excessive on it but other than that it works in most situations
