Likely not going to happen.

From what I've seen they can possibly change their effectiveness in ways like:
Damage, magazine size, recoil/accuracy at range, reload speed, hop-up, maybe fire rate.

I'm guessing mag size and ranged accuracy is likely the thing they might change.

That they are fairly accurate at range and "never stop shooting" (needing a reload) are what i've seen.
