The correct solution to cheater / hacker in game, to make it a criminal offense. Now with that law, cheater / hacker will take this more seriously, whether to cheat or not. Also if a game has like certain xx% of cheater in a game, the punishment for cheater in that game will be doubled or tripled even. for example 20% hacker in game, punishment will be doubled / tripled, if it's below 10% it's not doubled.

Wouldn't it be better to make a law that would make creation of malicious programs illegal? (Military purposes not included). That way the creator of harmful programs, (including ones that make cheats), would have to weigh in the possibility of ending up in a courthouse. That might not stop the creation of these programs, but it might severely hinder them.
PS.
On the other note, I'm quite sure now that there's a huge number of cheaters in this game. It seem that mixtape has more of them than BR. Why I'm so sure about it is that I saw a few forcefields around some players that reminded of one that Gibraltar is using. Only that they were huge and revolved to the direction where the shots came. Sadly I wasn't able to report them since I died before I saw their name. And I'm still too new to this game that I don't know every possible way to find the name of the culprit.

If my memory serves me correct, I believe a few game companies did take a cheat making company to court and eventually lost simply because the cheap company had right on the product - not to be used in competitive gaming - something along those lines. As a result the cheat company was exempt. As they are not responsible for what players do with their product, as long as its printed on the box, not for PvP etc....
Can anyone confirm the details incase my memory is off?

@ComicBookGuy2727I think Bungie may have sued a cheat developer, and I'm sure others have as well. Typically the game developer wins, but the cheat company goes bankrupt, and a new one goes up in it's place. The cheat companies are clearly violating TOS, so they're not winning any cases.
