So? the queue time is inexistant because so many ppl are playing, the player base CAN be split and that's also a fact. OW, CS and all other multiplayer game have some 2 minutes queue, nobody is dying.

Well GOOD NEWS (everyone) your squad mode won't change! People just want to add a solo mode, we won't touch at your "designed team play" where half of the players leave as soon as they are dead anyway.

Well solo and duo IS content.And about the game being thought in team, hitboxes (already a pblm in squad but whatever), respawn beacon, knockdown shield and all those mechanics thought for squad I don't see a problem.
Let everybody play Wraith, Bangalore or Lifeline if they want (somebody talked about her shorten rez time with shield to state she's only viable in group, that's not why she's good, more for her heal drone and reduction time to heal HERSELF, so totally viable in solo, oh and her ult that won't get stolen by a random for once) and let beacon and knockback shield be useless, what's the big deal? like really please explain me why deleting beacon and knockback shields would be a problem, and what hero would have a disadvantage he doesn't already have?People need to understand that adding a solo mode won't change their trio mode, well it will change, they will have less instant-leavers-once-dead, but Respawn prefers to punish players that do that than adding what they want...
Lifeline Ult "that won't get stolen"... There you have it. That care package is for the team. It's not just Lifelines exclusively.... The same as the health drone is for the team.
I try to leave loot for team mates. I leave my care package for them if I'm happy with my loadout, or if I see a team mate is need of something on there.
I play Apex with my team in mind. Early game I don't do the "race for loot and beat my team mates to it". I pick up what I want/need and leave some weapons/ammo for the team.
Another bug bare for me is "they stole my kill"... I don't care who kills who. I'd rather have a team mate focus fire and help tbh. But again, some people are so hung up on their game, their stats etc they forget it's a team game.
It's not hard to stick together and play to each others strengths. It's the fact players think they know better and want to play "their way" then complain that it doesn't work and think solos will solve their issues.
Solos - In addition to the many other reasons posted against it, solo will affect the whole game, because it needs specific adjustments, different than those for team mode, and most probably a new map. This translates to way more issues, increasing development time and significantly slowing updates.
Duos - This kind of happens already, due to respawn timeouts and quitters. But I'm curious how a match with 3-4 teams of high level, preformed duos and 16-20 teams of low/mid level randoms trios would turn up.
Quads - would hardly be different than trios, unless some new class of legends appear.
Thing is, if other game modes, maps or ranked matchmaking will be added to the game, the playerbase will be split, which means we might end up waiting a lot more to find a match. Considering this, it's much better to prioritize fixes and content that enhances the current experience, like new legends, new loot, new skins, map extensions.

What specific adjustements? and why a new map?
all other BR use the same map and adjustement if you talk about heroes please explain why it needs it? like why a hero is ok as he is now in trio but won't be in solo? each hero have good and bad point to play in solo, and if 2 or even 4 heroes are not used what's the big deal?

are we playing the same game? you concider fortnite pupg and apex comparable? lolI haven't really seen any good reasons or well laid out opinions on why other modes should be added. But just the sheer volume of calls asking for other modes has to be good enough reason for consideration. My preferences for developments in Apex are for a better friends system, more map content, more Legends and, of course, continued anti-cheat progress. Other modes would possibly interest me, but I also believe a much improved friends system would answer those players who wish for new modes because they don't enjoy playing with random teammates.
If it turns out that there is solo mode or duo mode in S2 then I won't be surprised. However, if there is at the same time no improvement to the friends system then I think that would be difficult to understand.

Well I read again all your posts and I didn't see reasons why it wouldn't work,I saw reasons why it's a team game and how heroes interact with their team but this Im aware of and it's not the point.
The main problem ppl seem to have with solos is "this game was thought as a team game" quoting repawn beacon, knockback shield and heroes abilities.
My geniune questions were: why simply deleting beacon and knockback shields would be a problem? and what hero would have a real disadvantage he doesn't already have?
The main thing I can think of are hitboxes, but they are already a problem, when you have a caustic or pathfinder in front of you, your bullets are like : "it's free real estate", they can be in a team, it's the same.For abilities the only one that will be useless is Lifeline fast-shilded rez but she got other things going for her, like the healing drone that basically gives her a free slot in backpack.

Silmply because some people like gaming alone against others. And exept BR few game provide this, i mean FFA in CS or OW is not quite the same experience.
And please don't talk about other BR as a solution to go play solo, the gameplay of this game has an amazing feeling that you don't have in other BR.

Cool, okay. My issue is the distraction new modes could prove for the devs. Squads needs some work and adding more game modes (and maybe more bugs that come with it) could mean the core game doesn't get the tlc it needs due to issues in newer game modes. Just my opinion though.
I can also see gameplay issues where players will be waiting to engage other players to avoided getting shot in the back. TTK is long in Apex. If I played solos, I would not look to engage first as the gunfire will bring more people, who could also wait it out and pick up the pieces. This already happens in squads and gets complaints on here. With solos it would be even worse.
I'm sure some legends would eventually be preferred to others, and then you have the timing of ults etc. OK, if they remove Ults, and respawn beacons, knock down sheilds, it could work, or it could break other parts of the game. Remember, Respawn did try solo and duo, as well as wall running but decided it didn't fit the game.
I have said that if Respawn introduce solos I wouldn't be against it, provided it didn't distract them from the core game. I wouldn't want solos to be added, and then Respawn chasing their tail fixing unforeseen bugs and balance issues.
The impact on MMing is open to debate, but in my experience, the added game modes do not attract the same player counts as the core game. FFA in cod was never well populated as 1 example. Throw in the fact we may get new maps this could spread the player base to thin (2 or 3 maps over 2 or more game modes and all of a sudden, MMing takes a hit).
None of this is set in stone. It's just my opinion. I like FFA game modes but not once have I thought Apex needed it.
