Who should I main in S9?
I have a habit of playing lower-tier legends (mainly Revenant and Fuse) whom I find fun to play, but I think in S9 ... sorry ... Legacy ... I need to test myself a bit more and play with a higher tier legend. I just don't know who.
I like BH a lot and he was the first legend I mained, back in Season 4. My only issue is I don't really like his Ult that much. I think it's because in my head as soon everything goes grey and red I start running around as though I'm playing Overwatch and think I've become invincible. I've been trying to crack this habit by picking BH when I don't get Fuse and I'm getting better, but it's still an issue.
I like Bang and Lifeline too but don't find them as fun to play as Fuse, Rev or BH. LL is getting nerfed though. Horizon is okay, but she's getting nerfed too. I can't get my head around Wraith, I'm rubbish as Pathy and I just don't like Gibby. The others ... kind of leave me cold. Wattson, Crypto and Rampart there's too much fiddling about and my aged brain doesn't work that quickly.
Now ... Octane. The only game I like (and play) as much as Apex is Paladins and my main there (Talus) is a mix of Octane, Loba & Revenant (speed & teleportation). Thanks to my Apex 'talents' I can shred with him as his gun has zero recoil and my aim (in Paladins, not Apex) is god-like. You can get 'life steal' hop ups in-game which means some of the damage you do to enemies is added to your current health. This means in 1 v 1 situations I'm practically unplayable (and even if I'm losing I can just teleport out of the fight). So I am thinking with my skillz with speed and the jump pad being a good escape ... playing Octane? My main problem with this is ... it's Octane.
And then there's Fuse. I'm not bothered that his Ult is pooh - I use it defensively as much as I use it offensively and I don't expect to get 6 kills if I drop it on a third party fight. I'm pretty good with the launcher BUT I am really stoked about the double knuckle cluster. I am fiendlshly accurate with it and the thought of popping two of them on the same enemy, or blasting open a door, sticking the second one through then adding a nade for good measure ... I'm salivating. Plus, he suits my playing style and I don't know what to do.
Help?!
