Title says it. Already have an Origin Account and played the game since Day 1, but I'd love to continue playing on Steam, but I want to know if, as an EA Play Pro member, will I still get the Premium BP when playing through Steam?
Cancelled EA Pro as well because of this.
Damn, EA being * yet again 🙂 First you give us that * filtered Kingdom Of Amalur, then you give us the pathetic "remaster" of Hot Pursuit and now you take away the free BP for your ea play pro subscribers? Your game catalogue is trash, 5% of the games are decent to play and the rest are just bloated *. You are the worst company that has ever existed and I am cancelling my subscription and telling my friends and people I know to do the same. I've defended you for so long like many others hoping it was just a hate wagon from them, but jesus * christ, you are without doubt the worst publisher that has ever existed. Imagine being this greedy. Screw you EA. I long for the day you will go bankrupt.
This is one of the main reasons I purchased the pro plan a month or so ago. I definitely will not be renewing. Will downgrade or cancel if possible.
Why on earth would it not be included after having included it in every other season.
@sSipsterI agree that one should not blame a single individual, but you have to admit that EA is really stupid to do this - as a company with such a history of greedy malpractice and customer neglect, I think it would be stupid not to react and voice your discontent as a consumer.

That's a fairly good point, and I think I let the frustrations of people misdirecting personal blame here blind me to that somewhat.
EA has not only a history, but a continued acceptance of prioritizing greed over quality and that's something that continually worries me with regard to their influence over the Respawn team. :-/
Everyone can get a refund for this as ''seasonal pass'' and ''seasonal battle pass'' are implying the same thing. The word battle is irrelevant.
EA support will initially refuse (claiming some legal loophole because of wording or it being hidden in the T&C covering themselves) but just call out how dishonest it is to advertise in such a deceitful way while being persistent and they'll eventually give your money back.
As they can't change/remove in-game items or currency, you'll still be able to complete the pass while retaining your coins from end of season to purchase the next pass too.
I did this in S1 and had free BP to date. If they remove anything from my account now they'll prove they were lying as i kept all the chat logs.
Shoes on the other foot for a change... EA got EA'd.
