Xims on console

@RevenanT-G7 that dog could easily be depicted as you 😃 do you happen to use Xim? think it's pretty clear.. why not just play on PC it's way better 😛

@DankTolietWatch enough footage of the two different types and you build up a fairly good sense of which is which.

I have to say though the "playing on a level playing field" argument is dead and gone, and it's nothing to do with Xim/Chronus. 3p controllers with extra buttons, paddles etc, playing on different monitors/tvs , even having an xbox one X instead of a normal one - these are things all confer an unfair advantage.

The days of consoles being all the same hardware and everyone on a level playing field have been over for a long time. This isn't an argument against Xim. If I use the level playing field logic : if some guy goes out and spends 2-300 bucks on a better controller than mine, I'd be well within reason to go out and spend the same money on a Xim, keyboard and mouse.

@DankTolietit can but when you see fluid moments after watching and using one yourself, ya can pretty much tell when someone uses a controller or not.

Part of me now feels like you use one yourself and you are trying to reason with your inner self in order to not feel like a scum for using it. In which case, I hope it breaks

This is most true, Elite/Scuf/Wolverine/monitor/Astros/Google Fiber/ are much more common anyways. Yet none of those including the XIM bypass any official Xbox Terms of Service. Respawn not "condoning"is not a punishable offense. 

Nah it's basically aimbot, I tried even though I never played PC before. It felt like a straight up aimbot. Now I play PC and it is nowhere close to a normal M+KB. 

It is cheating plain and simple there is no valid excuse or argument for allowing this in console.

The real answer by now is for Xbox to start including their own native emulator that does the Xims job only better and stop giving 3p products a market.  At least if xbox did this then there'd be fewer people buying the other ancillaries and then just out of curiosity testing recoil reduction scripts etc.  I sincerely think that a lot of people who wind up using scripts and macros to get an advantage start by just wanting to use K&M to see what the fuss is all about.

[edit] -  I really don't think the macros and scripts etc are a big issue from what I've experienced so far.  It gives a good player a very small improvement and gives a terrible player a bigger improvement.  Most seem to be quality of life things that I would love if I could do them on my controller (1 button to take out a grenade, throw it and then bring out your weapon again).
