Abandon penalties not waived when you have no teammates

I'm always getting abandon penalties when I shouldn't. Like when I'm the only player on a team, I get abandon penalty for leaving. Server cuts out and I try to get back into the match but abandon penalty. I can't remember all the situations I've had abandon penalty when I shouldn't but it happens awfully a lot. I deserve in-game compensation for the loss of time.
