A few years ago, when the cross-progression feature was introduced, I tried to merge my PC and PS4 accounts but made a mistake; I unlinked the accounts, which caused the Apex account on my PS4 to switch to a different one, resulting in the loss of my progress on the PS4 version. I’ve recently started playing Apex again and want to play using the account that has the Heirloom.

Sorry to hear you lost access to your original PlayStation progress after changing the linked EA Account.
Apex progress and content are tied to the EA Account where they were originally earned. Cross Progression doesn’t merge progress from different EA Accounts, and unlinking the PlayStation account does not transfer that progress to the EA Account used on Steam.
To access the profile containing the Heirloom again, the PlayStation account would generally need to be linked back to the original EA Account. Please avoid making any further linking changes before the account history has been checked, as unlinking can cause additional progress and content issues.
