Account Switching
Me and my and my brother shared an account on apex he was on Xbox and I played on ps4 when I changed the email we lost all of our skins and charms and I blame respawn for at least not keeping my skins isn't this relatable

What you're describing is not the result of changing an email, but unlinking a platform from an EA Account.
That progress is saved on the EA Account and cannot be transferred to a different account, so if you had previously unlinked your PSN account to attach that to your own EA Account rather than a shared account, unfortunately that progress would be lost as well.
The only way around this would be to re-link the PSN account back to the original EA Account, however if that's one you had shared with your brother unfortunately that won't be permitted as you would each need to have your own separate accounts. That would mean at least one of you starting over once the accounts were split apart I'm afraid, sorry.
