Apex crashes after the news tab at menu

Hello, i have 2 accounts on my xbox, my son's and mine. When my son loads into apex legends he gets all the way in through the menu where you ready up and then the news tab pops up and the game kicks him to the xbox menu.

On my account I don't experience this at all, how do I fix this.
