Apex Crashes/Restarts PC

My Apex Legends will not work on my PC anymore. I left my PC untouched due to work for about 4 months and came back to my pc and now Apex Legends no longer works. I have updated all drivers and all software on my PC and yet it still will not work. My game will launch but a few seconds after logging into and being on the main screen of the game it will entirely crash and restart my PC. After doing a little digging it appears to be overloading my CPU (usage goes to 100% very quickly) I have never had this issue before and I have no issue on any other games on my PC. I have tried to launch the game through both steam and origin, the same thing happens on both. I have rolled back drivers, updated my MOBO software, googled and tried every solution available online, yet nothing works. I love Apex and I would love to be able to play again, however I cannot seem to figure out why it wont work.

I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz as my processor.

32 GB of ram.

EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 as my GPU.

HI @Nyghtrix Can we try going through the following steps, and check if you continue running into issues?

    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    • Troubleshooting Graphics issues
    • Scan your device for possible Viruses or Malware
    • Check data/time are correct
    • Verify any Anti-virus, or other software is not limiting the client and game (try closing out of additional apps then trying to play)
    • Verify any other Anti-cheat software (aside form EAC) is not running or limiting Apex
    • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
  • Hey,

I have the same issue - launching Apex Legends, getting into a game and PC just restarts randomly.
Sometimes it happens when you are in a ship, before jumping into a map, sometimes during a game (more frequently beeing outside of the ring). Sometimes I can play 2-4 or more games and then restarts happens, some times it's just 1 game. No error codes, nothing - just restarting my PC.

It's happening 2nd or 3rd season already, meaning for a while already and getting more intense - meaning happening more frequently. Just launched apex after some weeks of no usage, game had an update of a few hundred megabytes and now it happens 1st game before even jumping from the ship. So basically, I can't even play.

I'm quite an experienced PC user (building PC's, making pc parts reviews @ YouTube) and I've tried tons of things from forums, from my experience, adjustments in PC BIOS etc.

This issue happens only in Apex Legends, no other application suffers from this.

The funny thing is, I have the same CPU as @Nyghtrix - i7-9700KF (32GB of RAM, GTX 1080 Ti)

So, as I've mentioned, now I just can't play Apex any more. And I'm like an OLD Apex player - playing since 1st season.
