Apex Freezing in the lobby after loading in
- 1 month ago
Thank you for the DxDiag. You should be able to attach a crash report like you did with the DxDiag. Here are some suggestions based on what you've given me so far.
First, disable every overlay:
- Discord
- Steam
- AMD Adrenalin
- AMD Anti-Lag
- AMD Anti-Lag+
- AMD ReLive
- SteelSeries Moments
- SteelSeries Sonar
- Overwolf
- MSI Afterburner
- RTSS (RivaTuner)
- OBS Game Capture hooks
Then, launch Apex. If that doesn't help, continue below.Next, completely remove SteelSeries Sonar. You have SteelSeries Sonar Gaming, SteelSeries Sonar Chat and SteelSeries Sonar Microphone all installed as virtual devices. So, disable Sonar completely, reboot and set the Windows playback to A50 X Game. Then, launch Apex again.
And if that doesn't work, try running Apex with only one monitor. Disconnect the second one, reboot and try playing again.
If you still have trouble, do a Clean Boot of Windows. Run msconfig and go to Services. Hide Microsoft services. Then disable all remaining services. Go to Startup and disable everything. Reboot and launch Apex. If that works, enable everything again in batches to help narrow down what's causing the issue.
You can also try deleting anticheat. Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat and C:\ProgramData\EasyAntiCheat. After that, run EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe and repair/install again.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
