APEX item lost with Cross-progression

Hi

I have played on Playstaiton4.

I haven't played for a while, but I start playing again on PC(Steam) in S19 with same EA-Account. And I wanted to use the CONDUIT so I bought a limited item (player1) and Battle-pass.

Cross-progression took place on November 28 with my account, and various items returned. However, I lost CONDUIT's skin(player1) and Battle-pass.

We have contacted EA-HELP but have only received a misguided response and have not been able to resolve the issue. And finally i received a reply to report here.

Could you please help me?

Are they lost due to the following?
"Note: to prevent exploitation, any secondary Apex Legends accounts created after Oct 26th for the same EA account, will not be eligible to be merged."

    Hi @shaxcho 

    To confirm is the skin still on your PSN account when you log into the PS4?

    Also to confirm do you no longer have access to the Battlepass or the progress you made?

    I do not currently have a PS4. Therefore, I am unable to confirm this.

    The skins I acquired while playing on PS4 are active when I log in on my PC. However, the items purchased on PC and the Premium Battle Pass were lost due to cross-progression.

    Hi @shaxcho, Can you give a few examples of the items purchased you are missing? Some platform-specific items won't be available everywhere and for the Battlepass you might lose progress if you made more on an account that did not become your main account however you will keep any unlocked skins.

    I purchased the following two items. However, These have been lost.
    - CONDUIT skin "Player1". This is limited skin. Therefore, I am current unble to buy this.
    - PREMIUM BATTLE PASS

    I read your DM.

    I paid money and got nothing. This happens to players who restarted APEX on a new platform after Season 19 started. Is it a specification that we lose items that can only be purchased with APEX COINS? Is this an official answer from EA?

    Also, your DM says to "please reach out to our support". I have already reached at EA support. Then, EA support directed me to post here. (EA support does not solve this issue.) Am I just going to lose money due to this issue?

    To confirm, Accounts used after October 26th will not be merged:

    Cut-off date- Oct 26, 2023

    As explained in the original dev blog, if you started or linked a secondary account/platform after October 26th, the content from this account will not be merged.

    Thus, if you ask the EA about money (or APEX COINS), you will be guided to a template text and no solution will be provided. (neither here nor in EA support).
    They only focus on the merge and do not seem to be interested in the money I paid.

    When starting APEX on a new platform, it would be best not to play until Cross-progression is complete. You may only be robbed of your money like I was.

    Hey @shaxcho 

    To clarify, the quote you're describing is referring specifically to badges that cannot be earned via gameplay. Badges and stats work a bit differently than your other content and will be dependent on which account was made the primary.

    For clarity:

    Spoiler

    Some badges from Apex Legends’ earlier seasons previously earned on a non-primary account (an account that wasn’t the highest level at the time of Cross Progression) may not have been merged into the new Cross Progression enabled account which will be used going forward.

    If these badges can be earned again through future gameplay, that is the only way to reacquire these badges.


    For badges that cannot be obtained again due to their nature - e.g. a badge awarded for completing a former season’s Battle Pass or achieving a particular rank in an old season - Respawn continues to investigate returning these badges to affected users in the future.

    We will communicate further about this investigation and its outcome at a later date.

    However, this is for badges that were earned before the cut-off date of Oct 26th. If you started a new account and played on it after that date. Items and Progress are not eligible for Cross Progression, as described in the links above.

    I purchased were lost in a few days. But you will not retuen money or APEX COINS?
