Apex keeps closing while I'm in the middle of a game

I have been having this issue with apex where the game will randomly close itself while I'm still playing for no apparent reason. There are no error messages, it just closes. I have checked online for possible solutions and they only suggest things like updating my drivers, lowering graphical settings and verifying files on steam. I doubt there's anything wrong with my system as I have been playing on the same computer for the past two years. I am not sure why this is happening now because I have never come across this issue in previous seasons.

    Perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that may be interfering with your game. Reinstall Apex Legends and the EA app. Repair the game files in the EA app by going to Library, then finding Apex Legends. Click the Manage icon then click Repair.

    I have tried these steps but they have not improved the performance of the game. Rather, it got worse as there are now very brief fps drops while I'm in the middle of the game on top of Apex just closing.

    Happened to me as well.

    I didnt play the last 2 or 3 seasons and when I came back on season 18 same thing happens every single game.

    Havent found a solution tho but if there is more of us then its probably an optimization issue on their end and God knows when will they realiye that and fix it.
