Apex Legends crash
Apex legends would crash every time with error 0xc0000001d at 0x4012ab15

I reduced every setting to lowest and the game still got hung ''faster than ever'' so it has nothing to do with the graphical settings that we can change in-game. I also tried to repair the game files with the launcher and that did nothing. All my games run smooth on high without crashing, except for APEX so it most likely not a hardware problem. The problem is most likely a software problem either within the game files or the drivers for some graphic cards.
My CPU is Ryzen 7 1800X
My GPU is RTX 2080
My Ram is 16GB Vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz
And yes, I have the newest driver for my GPU ''418.81'' and both the new and the previous version ''417.71'' got the hung crash.

Download old NVidia Drivers 417.71

Im glad the driver change worked for you, but that doesnt work for me or most others. I was on that driver having the same issues before I tried updating to the new drivers.

before it crashes every game I hope that people come back to the forum and tell us if their ''ULTIMATE FIX'' didn't work. I updated from 417.71 to 418.81 to begin with because of the hung crash and I also reduced all settings to lowest in game and also repaired my files and nothing changed, It would be awesome if these ''fixes'' removed the problem but they don't, at least they didn't for me.
It's not driver's issue, it's still crashing like there is no tomorrow. Crashed 3 times to day so I just stopped playing until fixed.

Im getting the HUNG DEVICE ERROR crash as well.
I thought it was my GPU messing up until I checked out this thread and seen other people were having this problem too.
Guess ill play something else until this gets fixed. Its really random when it happens to me. Really really frustrating to deal with!
Not really. Downgraded my drivers 417.71 and still got the error. Not so often, but its still there.
Hey bud what do you suggest I do for a ps4 SOLUTION? What works for you doesn’t work for the next guy. Just sayin’
Not sure if it will work for others, but after changing to Borderless Windowed Mode from Fullscreen the crashing has stopped. So if you haven't tried, change to windowed or borderless windowed and see if that works. It's a temporary fix until Respawn gets it fixed on their end. Let me know if it works or not for you.
