Guessing there hasn’t been a patch for this yet? Haven’t played anything since downloading this because all I want to do is play Apex
Hi there
Really enjoying the game so far but it keeps crashing. I have updated my nvidia drivers and it still crashes.
Game crashes to this error: Engine Error - 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed

- For me it kept crashing if I had Ambient Occlusion Quality on High, lowered it to Disabled and now it rarely crashes if ever
This is not a driver issue.
Selam,
Apex efsaneleri her seferinde 0x4012ab15 numaralı hatata 0xc0000001d hatasıyla çökecekti
Lütfen bana yardım edin beyler.

I reduced every setting to lowest and the game still got hung ''faster than ever'' so it has nothing to do with the graphical settings that we can change in-game. I also tried to repair the game files with the launcher and that did nothing. All my games run smooth on high without crashing, except for APEX so it most likely not a hardware problem. The problem is most likely a software problem either within the game files or the drivers for some graphic cards.
My CPU is Ryzen 7 1800X
My GPU is RTX 2080
My Ram is 16GB Vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz
And yes, I have the newest driver for my GPU ''418.81'' and both the new and the previous version ''417.71'' got the hung crash. I was using 417.71 drivers but my game was crashing all the time. Upgraded to new 418.81 and still kept on crashing, everything from DXGI_ERROR to DX12 to memory issues.
I then changed my ingame setting Texture Streaming Budget from Max memory(8GB or more) to very high(6GB) and the crashes stopped.
I have a 1080Ti with system memory 16GB so I should be able to use 8GB
I also changed one or two of the settings as per this screenshot.
Hi,
