Apex Legends Crashing Eleven Different Error Messages

Hey all, hoping anyone can help me with Apex crashing and multiple errors. Will try to make it to the point.

I can post all the different errors if anyone can thinks it will help. But, I THINK I might have fixed some of them, so I will says what I have currently done to try to fix the crashes and the say current errors I am getting.

What I have done-

  1. Updated Windows to latest version

  2. Updated drivers to latest version

  3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

  4. DISM and system file checker repair (says there were errors, followed steps given to repair them)

This was late last night, went to bed, woke up, tried to load it up before work, crashes, try again- it works am I am able to play a few games before work. Get home from work. Load Apex, it crashes, try again, it works and I am able to play for about an hour and a half before it crashes giving no error message. I then take the next steps.

  1. Error checking my local disk (says there were errors, followed steps given to repair them)

  2. Verify integrity of game files through Steam (says there were errors, followed steps given to repair them)

  3. Tried closing all other programs (Spotify, Discord, Chrome) while Apex was running.

Load it up twice (sometimes it crashes before I can get to the lobby, other times not) I am able to get into a game, but it soon just freezes- no error message, the screen just froze in the middle of a match, and I had to close Apex through the task manager, this happened twice. I try to load the game again and the current error message I am given reads like this: Engine Error [176.183] Unknown file version (audio\ship\general_english.mstr)

I try to load Apex again after this, I get another error message I have not seen before I did not get a screen cap of this one but I read something along the lines of "missing media file canyon". I am sure I could encounter new error messages if I persisted in loading the game over and over, but at this point I am fed up and just want to try to fix this before the new season in five days.

  • @EA_Kent After running some more tests, it turns out my RAM was faulty. I purchased new RAM yesterday and I have experienced zero crashes since. Thank you for your time and help.
