False.
Lots of things seem to "FIX" the issue, differs for different graphics cards and computer builds..
Try a bunch of different settings and it may work for you.

We continue to see positive results from the steps below.
- Play the game in Windowed mode
- Cap your frame rate to 75 (steps can be found here) (Reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/apexlegends/comments/ataxti/potential_crash_fix_for_crash_to_desktop_without/?st=JSFY66RN&sh=04caddea)
- Try playing without any overlays
- Change your monitor refresh rate from 144 to 85
- Lower the Texture Streaming Budget option via the in-game settings
- Lower your resolution settings and slowly increase them after hours of playing the game to see if it crashes at a specific resolution
We're seeing some success by making some adjustments with audio.

After trying about ->literally everything<- i now done something which seems to hold pretty well so far.. and it's pretty easy aswell;
In Origin go to Application settings -> Notifications -> and i just disabled everything in there under 'chat', 'friends activity' and 'games' et voila... So far so good.
I previously also disabled 'Origin ingame' but that didn't make much difference.
