Error Code 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.)
Have this every time I now try to play Apex Legends. I followed all the advice. Only thing that seems to work is a full reinstall (not always) or deleting EasyAnticheat.sys file.
Any tips before I finally get so annoyed I wave Origin goodbye forever? 99% there at the moment after 3 days of pure frustration.
BTW this fault came with the last update. Not seen it before then.
so while i had all the same error with the 30005 / failed with 32... and i tried a lot of different solutions which people wrote, i found my solution was an easy thing to solve. Because the problem seem to accure in random time, and get solved by itself. I recognized it is the anti-virus passive scans.
I have Kaspersky internet security.
This (and probably other anti-virus tools) do a "rootkit scan" from time to time. This may happen after you started your PC or at different other random times.
You can easy find out if it does so, when you mouse-over at your kaspersky-icon on your windows-bar at bottom-right. If it does the rootkit-scan, it shows in the mouse-over on which %-status it is. So when this is over.... i can start the game without the problem (30005 / 32).

i am sure, there are other anti-virus or firewall tools that do the same or similiar scans from time to time.
I would not turn them off, but you may have a look if theres something running passive, which may be finished after (for me) around 1-2 min.
Every time I go into apex, play it, then exit it, Origin doesn't let me press the Play button on Apex. I've checked Task Manager, the game is not open anywhere, and when I go to exit Origin it says that apex is open and asks me if I want to exit. When I relaunch Origin, I can press the Play button, but when the Easy-Anti Cheat starts launching i get the (30005 Error) and it says "Failed to create file 32". The only way for me to play Apex more then once a day is to restart my PC.
I don't know how to fix this pls help.
This was recently fixed for me in DBD by an apparent EAC update.
So I got Apex on steam and I don't have the problem anymore.
So that's that.
Same here. I wrote them twice. They're such a jerks. Just because they're not able to do their job properly, we have to suffer. I hate how big companies do not care about little amount of people like us. The worst part is that, its not even a big problem. Everything was fine for 2 years, since apex release. Which proves that its just some mistake in the code. But no... Lets wait 3 more years, and only then fix it. Absolutely disgusting.
I downloaded the process explorer app, to try to find the process which do not allow me to delete .sys file without rebooting my pc. I didnt find anything running in the background. I thought that easy anti cheat is running somewhere in the background but its just not listed in the task manager. But this process explorer (kinda extended task manager) didnt show anything. Then i thought it might be the origin so i closed it. But then again when i tried to delete the .sys file it said "this action cant be completed because the file is open in another program". Any ideas what program could it be? It kinda gets annoying to reboot my pc every time i want to play apex if i already left it once. Maybe there's a way to delete the .sys file without rebooting the pc.
Ok, I have also been having this problem and this is my last resort. If you guys can just go and like, retweet, or whatever, I just want it to be seen and addressed.
