i have a similar problem but apex on steam never asked me for my EA account. i have ps4 linked to EA Account. hence ps4 progress didnt show up on steam for apex.
Community ManagerCross-progression does not currently exist for Apex, so your PlayStation progress would not carry over to Steam.
Any progress you make on those accounts would stay separate and cannot be transferred or moved to another platform at this time, sorry.
