apex says that my account is logged in on another device even when im not

I typically play Apex on a ps5 however my ps account is considered a childs account (me being 17). So i download pc apex and put in my card info to buy some apex credits. Now not only do i lose the $20 dollars I spent on the apex coins but I also can't load into apex on the pc saying that my account is already logged into another device but I have had my ps turned off this whole time. When I do get on my ps5 version of apex it not only lets me in but says that I don't have the $20 dollars of apex coins that I had spent money on. So now Im locked out of pc apex and lost $20 without compensation (and yes I have emailed customer service asking them for help on this issue as well, yet no response. Does anyone know 1.) how to fix my pc apex or 2.) how I could actually get my money back? Becuase I have been stuck for 24 hours without anyone emailing me on my issue.

Log in on the device you DONT want to play on right now (I know it sounds weird) and then return to main menu. Then load it on another device and it should work. Closing the application doesn’t fix it for some reason. You need to have both devices on and on the main menu.

Update, it works now. About 15 minutes or so after shutting down my PS5. So maybe you have to give it enough time in between for it to recognize you're logged out of PSN.

I am having this problem as well. Decided to play Apex on my PS5 for the night, and linked my PS5 account to my EA account. That all worked fine, but now on Steam when I try and launch the game on my PS5, it tells me that "this profile is already logged in on another device" and I'm stuck there on the game launch screen. My PS5 is completely shut down, it's off. So right now completely locked out of Apex on Steam.

im having this problem now to, was playing on my ps5 and wanted to hop back to pc and now i cant log in on pc

The same thing happened to me earlier. I bought the coins on xbox when the game wouldn't properly load after the transaction, so I closed the app only to see met with the issue you had. My steam account wouldn't work either, but my nintendo switch could load. I ended up closing apex and restarted my console, waiting a few minutes before getting back on, and sure enough, I was able to get back in and got my coins.
