Apex starts to redownload again and again

So basically I was trying to download Apex for the last week. Everytime I start or resume an existing download (no matter at what percentage) it goes up to 100% and then deletes the last 10 downloaded gb. After that it starts downloading it again making it absolutely impossible to install this game. I went through every tip for solving download lags\errors but nothing helped. Thus I need your help.
P.S. I have more than 800 gb on my HDD were I'm installing Apex.
P.P.S. My specs are: fx 8320 (4.2 Ghz), RX 570, 16GB DDR3 (2133Mhz cl 12), one 240GB SSD (were windows is installed) and one 1TB HDD

Hey @amonlol the best thing to do is to ensure that your firewall and anti-virus are not blocking Origin and that you also have the ports for Origin open.

    The ports to open are:

    • TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
    • UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

You can also try turning off the routers firewall to see if it helps.

@EA_DarkoI've enabled dmz on my router + turned off windows firewall and defender. But still download gets to 100% and deletes the last 10 GB

  • When it start downloading "again" it shows less size than in explorer

  • Quick update. Only Apex does this "thingy" of redownloading itself. I've tried to download BF3, Grid 2 just to check whether it's origin's problem. And no. It happens to Apex only.

  • My last post was unanswered so I've made another one.
So, basically what my problem is that Origin downloads Apex fully (to 100%). Everything should be cool, but no. It "deletes" the last 10 downloaded GB of the game, resets progress bar to about 65-70% and starts to redownload it againAll subsequent attempts make no difference whatsoever: it does the same thing.

    Everything I've done so far:
    1. Enabled DMZ on my router (to portforward any ports from Origin)
    2. Tried to install Apex on disk C (which is my SSD) and D (HDD)

    3. Fully reinstalled Origin\Apex

    4. Disabled Windows Defender and Firewall

    5. Run Origin as admin

P.S. Only Apex does this. Any other game installs fine with no problems.

  • @amonlol Okay, try updating your network drivers, sometimes outdated drivers cause some troubles with origin. If that doesn't work try clean booting your PC, maybe some program is interfering with origin. These are some basic steps that I know if you've tried these then just ignore this, I'm just giving you some basic fixes that might work, hoping it works!
