if you do a clean windows install, install vc_redist.x86.exe & vc_redist.x64.exe always first befor you're installing any game.
- remove all microsoft visual c++ programms from your pc
- go to microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
- download both files, vc_redist.x86.exe & vc_redist.x64.exe
- install both
- reboot
- go to origin, right click on apex, repair game
- you may reinstall programs like afterburner
You sure you installed all drivers needed? Dont forget chipset, its often been forgetten by many users. If you still have problems, upload your dxdiag please.
Thanks for your instructions, I will try that tomorrow, when I’m home again.
In my setup before the crash, I had no issues installing origin or playing Apex, I had win 10 too and no work on visual c++, that’s confusing me extrem because I don’t see the cause.
I indeed installed origin straight after the drivers, no special attention to the visual c++ versions.
Then I installed all the missing old versions that didn’t came with windows, I then uninstalled them all and used all-in-one runtimes to surely get them all together. After I single installed 2017 I got origin installed.
I got the newest graphic and audio driver, BIOS is up to date, Ethernet installed itself with windows and yes I don’t have a chipset driver, because AMD doesn’t offer one for me and the web said I don’t need one. 😅
I will try you solution tomorrow evening and keep you up to date.

The C ++ versions are required for games. For example, if you install Apex, some versions of C ++ will be installed automatically. For some reasons, this doesn't work as well. It is better to install c ++ directly from Microsoft, as described in my guide, before a games installs its own stuff.

Hey,
so i uninstalled all versions of visual c++, downloaded the 2 files that you linked me to and after installing i rebooted my PC and repaired Apex.
Sadly it reacted like before, the blue bar loaded and nothing, no error, just the origin page with apex in front.
Then i uninstalled both, Apex and origin, during installing origin, i had no errors, that's a good progress, but i still cant run Apex (with no error).
I added my dxdiag log file.
I also downloaded origin and apex on my laptop with win 10 home, i did nothing on the visual c++ things, and its running with no issues... how can a computer with freshly installed windows 10 pro, have this problems? Im a lil sad 😞
