Apex wont launch from any app.
I have tried on steam EA etc, so what happens is i hit play EAC comes up dose its thing initializing.... waiting for game.... disappears and then nothing. Now this only just happened after the new u...

It seems the new EAC anti-cheat requires the CNG Key Isolation (lsass.exe) service to be running or else the game won't even launch.
This is was the problem for me and putting it on Automatic (I had it Disabled) seems to have fixed it.
EDIT:
Everyone should go into %AppData%/Roaming/EasyAntiCheat and then check the logs named "service.log" and "anticheatlauncher.log" for errors.
That should give you a clue to what is happening.

Game works for me now!
Mine was set to Manual and not started.
The game updated today and I set this service to Automatic and started it manually. I don't know which one of these actions helped.
But thanks for the info!
Also note, if your locale is different from English you may want to search it's name in your system to find it in the list of services quicker.

- @catb0rg Shame that doesn't work for me I'm afraid, am slightly annoyed as my support ticket that put in on EA Help apparently was resolved? when no solution was given. Its a shame the community works harder to help than the actual support team.
@shaundc8pSorry if I'm stating the obvious, but did you actually start the service?
