Apex/Easy Anti Cheat - Known programs that cause issues?
Hi everyone, unfortunately I recently received a flag on my Apex account through the anti cheat and I'm genuinely baffled about what triggered it. EA Help wasn't able to disclose any of that information to me so I'm left with basically no additional context about what the problem is.
My question is... are there any programs that are known to cause problems with Easy Anti Cheat, in Apex or even in other games? I loaded up another game that uses Easy Anti Cheat tonight and received a violation notice there as well so clearly something is flagging and I don't know what it is. I'm afraid to boot any game up for fear that something like my RGB software or my antivirus is going to get flagged by EAC. Off the top of my head I've had:
- ROG Live Service - ASUS peripheral RGB
- SteelSeries GG - SteelSeries peripheral app and game clipping
- MSI Afterburner - Overclocking, but I haven't touched this app in ages
- iCUE - RGB app
- Aura - RGB app
- Glorious Core - Mouse software
Other than Glorious Core, I can't remember the last time I even opened these apps but I'm sure some of them interact with my PC as it boots to control the RGB and such... I don't game with these apps open though.
I've re-reached out to EA Help hoping they'll let me know what software caused the problem but I'm sure they'll just deny me again. Losing an account with 9 heirlooms and thousands of hours is bad enough but if I lose another account in a different game I'll be beside myself. Any insight is GREATLY appreciated.
