Banned for inappropriate name

I have received a temporary ban for inappropriate name. I do not want to break rules so I’m happy to change it. I am unable to change it and reached out to EA multiple times who just send a generic reply saying my ban was actioned correctly.  I do not want to get another ban and just want EA to help change my name.

I play on PS5 and cannot change my entire PSN username without paying a fee so I don’t know how to fix this issue. Please help.

    MelBrawl​ Sadly, bans cannot be handled on the fourms as you would need to contact the EA TOS Team.

    If the ban was for an inappropriate PlayStation username, you would need to change your PlayStation username through your PlayStation's Account settings as each platform uses its own display name.

    We have provided you with a solution to your problem: Change your PlayStation Account name otherwise when you play EA games you risk possible negative actions on your account. The choice is yours.

    It does not matter if PlayStation has an issue with your user name or not.

    However if EA/Apex has an issue with the name you are using from the PlayStation account or if it violates EA's user agreement than you have a choice to make.

    1. You can keep your PlayStation user name and continue to use it playing EA games but you run the risk of further suspensions and or a permanent ban.
    2. You can keep the PlayStation user name and not play EA games.
    3. You can contact PlayStation and pay the few to change your username and hopefully risk no further sanctions for that on your account. But please think about what new name you will use, just because PS may think it is ok, it might not be for EA, keep it clean and tasteful.

     

    The choice is up to you. In order to play EA games you have to play by EA's rules.

    Reached out the the EA team multiple times and only received generic response. PlayStation did not have any issues with the name, EA did through a report when playing Apex Legends
