Battlepass reset after account merge

My Battlepass progress I made on my PS5 was reset after account merge with my PC progress. My PC account was further in level so I understand the account level taking precedence. Also, everything merged successfully. But while I still own the Battlepass, my progress has been reduced from ~40 to 1.

Is this intentional? I can’t find information on it anywhere.

This would be the correct reason. Your BP level will be taken from the primary (highest level) account, so if you had a higher level on a non-primary account that would unfortunately be reset.

While you would need to grind the levels again, any content you've already unlocked should remain available.

@YrigollenI bought S19 battlepass on day one and battlepass level on pc was about 40 and after today's cross progression it's now somehow on level 2. I haven't played on my ps4 or xbox at least a year. I haven't bought battlepass on ps4 or xbox in a while. All the other items, skins etc. seems to merged ok. I do got all the skins from S19 battlepass, but only thing that isn't right is the battlepass level. No matter which platform I check. Same on pc and xbox.
Doesn't feel right to buy it again and start over..
edit. Just checked my account again and realized that I have lost all my progression. Weapon levels, season 19 stats, account level and battlepass level.
Skins, crafting metals and legend tokens seems to be ok if I remember correctly.

@YrigollenAm I correct in interpreting that the account level is higher on Steam/EAApp, but as far as the Battle Pass is concerned, you progressed on PlayStation?
If so, I understand that the "progress" is based on the primary account, so it is possible that the Battle Pass lvl was rolled back to 1 for this season accordingly.

@spicycurr7_ Yes the higher level account was my EA account I used on PC. But all of my BP progress was on my PS5. It’s just disheartening because I returned to the game this season after years away because of cross progression. If I had known my BP would be reset, I would have waited. And now that the progress is gone, I think I’ll just drop it again. I read all about the merge and it didn’t say I would lose this progress. So frustrating.

I just got the prompt for cross-progression and I was happy about everything merging together, but my premium battle pass was reset to level 1 and I purchased the premium pass from last season 18 offer which cost me around 4000 coins, if I'm not mistaken, please help me get back to my level 72 to complete the battlepass before the season ends.

@MrJippe Yeah there’s definitely some strange BP stuff going on. I’ve read a few threads now about folks having their progress reset after the merge even though they made progress on the primary account. Hopefully they address this soon.

@EA_Mako Definitely ridiculous to do so without warning. I’ve seen nothing mentioning resetting BP progression anywhere. I don’t care about keeping voice lines and S19 counters. I want my time spent after work to matter. I think maybe I was right to stop playing a long time ago. Thanks.

That's bogus that I paid 30$ for a premium battle pass, and just because THEY decided cross progression was mandatory that I have to eat the 30$. I want it reinstated, or a refund.

@EA_Mako Today on 4/2/2024, with the new ranked split. I logged on and said my accounts were merged. Which was done months ago. My battlepass is currently back at 0 and says I have not purchased it (50 BP levels) and my 40 apex packs including one legendary have been taken from my account! This is unacceptable. PLEASE HELP!

Yo same here WTH! I lost everything. It’s showing my season stats as 0 kills and I lost all my BP when I literally grinder to plat 4 last night. WTH is happening? I purchased the premium battle pass too and wake up to my season progress wiped clean WTF
