i appreciate the reply, ill try a power supply reset again. I changed osme of my display settings on my xbox and was actually able to finish my first game in a couple weeks but then it started crashing again. really think i might just have to get a new console

Shutting down like that usually means the CPU/gpu chip is over heating. It will shut down to prevent damage. But usually when this happens you get a message on startup informing you of what's happened. Assuming you have re installed the game after a full wipe and it didn't help then I'd say it was the co sole. Maybe badly seated heatsink? Does it sound loud when it's running? Fast fan speed?
- 7 years ago@PullMeiFinger appreciate the reply. yes the fan is loud but it is only loud when playing apex. never gotten a message on restart of the console after a crash though. yeah ive deleted the saved game data then uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times to no avail.
