Can’t add friends

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble adding friends on your main account.

Since you mentioned that you're able to add the same friends using another account, let's check a few settings that might be affecting your main account.

• Check your EA Account privacy settings: Sign in to your EA Account and make sure the relevant options under "Allow users to search for me by" are enabled.
• Try searching by EA ID: Ask your friends for their EA Public IDs and try searching for those instead of their Xbox gamertags. Make sure the spelling is correct, including any spaces or underscores.
• Check cross-play settings: Make sure Cross Platform Play is enabled in your Apex Legends settings.
