Can't change my Apex Legends nickname (in-game) on Steam

So I'm changing my nickname on Steam but it has no effect in Apex at all.
I mean I can see my new name in the lobby but it's still uses my old nick when I'm in a match.
I only tried exiting and restarting both Steam and Apex couple times. Any advice?
