cant connect to ranked server, code:leaf, code:tap

When i queue ranked with my friends and we get into a game I get stuck on the loading screen while they get into the pregame lobby and after a couple seconds I get an error message saying im unable to connect to the server with either code:leaf or code:tap and Im sent back to the lobby. This has happened about 60 or so times so far and ive tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked. Some games Im able to play, like 1 game out of maybe 8 im able to connect, every other time ive been sent back to the lobby. Im connected to 1 gigabit wifi through ethernet and my wifi works perfectly fine on every other game except for apex legends. Ive tried to play without ethernet and just with wireless wifi, ive tried to play while connected to my iphone hotspot instead, i bought a vpn and tried a bunch of different servers and none have fixed the issue. Ive changed my data center region to na east and that hasnt worked either, ive verified my game files on steam, cleared my cache, and even uninstalled the game on steam and installed it on the ea app and that has done nothing. I see a lot of other people dealing with the same issue and there hasnt been a fix posted yet and im ngl im thinking about quitting cause theres literally nothing left I can do. Apex legends is the only game out of many many other games i play where this has been an issue.
