Can't enter a game; endless matchmaking

Hello,

I play Apex Legends through steam on my PC and since the newest update, I haven't been able to solo play on either Duo or Trios. I have tried to enter with the fill team members box both checked and unchecked and it still doesn't work. The entire time I am ready, the match making icon comes up and fills up past 60, then drops back down and I never get to enter a game. The only time I can play is if a member of the club I am in is playing with me. Any ideas on how to fix it? When I get into a game with my team mate I see other solo players playing, so not sure what is going on. Any help is appreciated!

  • I fixed it !

    I gave my internet provider a call told them about this and got a new router  (from technicolor to arris).
    since i've got the new device thisx problem never reoccoured!
    Most of the time it's the type of router that blocks you from matchmaking apparently

  • @DarkRydaa     that.... is not even remotely accurate.  Your type of internet, device, router, or whatever else you decide to add/change is not going to stop you from matchmaking ONLY IF YOU QUEUE SOLO but allow squad fill just fine.....  DNS, ip conflicts, firewall settings, connection settings could stop you from being able to connect altogether, but in no way can differentiate between IN game settings.

  • Yeah, I doubt the router thing will work for me since my account has this problem but my kids’ don’t, even on the same computer.

    I will say thanks about the Virginia mention though - I hadn’t tried that region since the ping is above what I usually consider acceptable… but for whatever reason Virginia 1 is working consistently when I can’t get into a game anywhere further west.

  • Agreed! I started a new profile just to see if that would make a difference and I could get into the East Coast, but my ping was nearly triple, which makes the game impossible to play.

  • We're 8 weeks in now with multiple posts to this issue specifically with no responses and no update, can we at least get a canned response "we're looking into it" or "we're aware of the problem" or something?  Just something.  I'd just like to know at this point if I'll ever be able to queue into a game solo again or just uninstall at this point?  Thanks for your time.

    April since my first post, now well into July, thats 4 MONTHS!  Still a problem, still cant play the game solo, still no response, still no update, why?  Why is this a thing and why is it intentionally being ignored?  I really enjoyed the game for the few months I was able to play before an update broke this feature, but now, after several months I dont even know if its worth trying to get back into at this point.  Like quite a few other posts all over this forum and several others, I guess Im just another player they dont want playing the game. Thanks for the good few months and all my store purchases I guess will sit in a dead account after I uninstall the game.  So disappointing, just really unfortunate.

  • Sad, I haven't logged on in months and just to find out it is now September, a new season update and I still can't solo play.

    Ive logged in but I havent played in a while. I checked my last game and it said the last game was about 2 hours ago and I wasnt able to even match make. Somethings weird with that where it says I played a game. I checked the night before and it was 8 hours for my last game
