Can't find config files and Settings keep resetting

My settings(all of them) reset every time i close and reboot my game. People have told me i should fix it in videoconfig.txt which is supposedly should be in C:\Users\KarambaMax\Saved Games\Respawn\A...

@EA_Barry Hey thx, I have avast antivirus and i have the default windows built in stuff, i tried turing em of(atleast to my knowlegde) and nothing happened. Can you explain more indepth this method(yes i clicked and watched the link), i think we're on to something though
