shield icon every game

I just stay lagging and I getting really tired of lagging in a game I love playing and what am I supposed to do every time this stupid shield icon pops up I start lagging i did  everthing i reset my game and router and i deleted the game and my accout off my xbox and reset my xbox 15 times and i still get 

i have never had a problem be for and i just went to play the gamew without lagging every game and when i start lagging i get out of the game and i reset the game and its starts doin it again and again

    You mean small white shield icon next to ping numbers? 
    if so that means you palying on Steam Datagram Relay protected & tunelled server

    how do i stop my game from lagging ever time i get that shield icon i watch people stream and they get it but they dont lag
