Can't install Apex on my friends PC - Origins setup won't start

Somehow we got it installed by installing an older version on oldversion.com
Then it automatically downloaded a newer version and installed it. (this had to happen twice)
Then it was installed. I run the program. 

I see the icon in task bar. I see it in task manager. I see cpu usage, memory going up all good.

Then program starts to appear next to the icon in task bar. (but no actual interface yet)
And then the exe.. goes to "not responding" in task manager. 

If I hover my mouse over origins in the task bar, I will see a preview image with a GREY interface with nothing in it.

Please FIX THIS SOFTWARE ALREADY EA. I read tons of problems like this on the internet.

ALL with NO SOLUTION. All just. plz uninstall and re-install bullcrap "advice".
