Error code: tap

I found some similar reports of this specific error in the past; it has often been caused by active options or configurations on the modem/router that need to be disabled or changed to avoid interfering with the connection to the game servers. 

We don't have direct visibility into your configuration and active options to figure out exactly what it could be, though.

You might need to check with the ISP directly if you can't identify which option needs to be disabled in your case.

I appreciate you trying a few steps already, like switching to the Google DNS. Please also try the Open DNS, as suggested in this guide to troubleshoot your connection.

I would also recommend that you close all overlays and other background applications on the PC using this guide; sometimes another program on the PC is causing the problem.

It is impossible to connect to the game specifically for the ranked mode; all other modes are available as usual. This error happens 100 out of 100 times every day every hour every minute always.

I didn't use any VPNs or other network settings, nothing changed. I've had this error since the beginning of the year.

I tried to find a solution on the Internet.
I restarted the router, made different DNS settings, and after that, no advice from the internet helped me get into the rank game.  Looks like this is the reason I'll have to quit the game forever.

I have been getting this code since the new update but my disconnection problems have lasted for a while , I keep getting disconnected and getting code:tap

I've tried everything change router settings , my Xbox settings, I've called my Internet provider , I bought a new router tried port forwarding , qos, upnp everything under the sun  deleted the game and cache and it keeps happening and I'm lost I have no clue what to do next . I wonder if it a EA sever issue or something on the games side with my account . SOMEONE HELP ME !!
