CODE:NET error since April 1st

Haven’t been able to play normally for almost a month now. I always get code:net error when I’m trying to join any match. I’m on old gen, PlayStation 4. Gamer tag: DarthMaul-NJANJE. Need a solution to this. I’ve tried rebuilding my data base, deleting the game. Switching from Wi-Fi to LAN. Nothing is helping.

  • Hi. Didn't seem to find 100% similar problem so I've decided to post this myself.

I cannot join any game, sometimes not even the firing range.

    This is how it goes:

    1. I find the game, it starts connecting me. I am brought to the loading screen with the splash art and map title (and hints).

    2. It stays like that for about a minute, then I'm brought to the title screen with a code:net (screen 1).

    3. If I press continue and try to rejoin, it gives me code:over (screen 2).

    4. After that I can try to connect to a lobby again but if I try, I get stuck on an infinite loading (of a splash screen). Note that the loading symbol is moving (screen 3).

    5. One time I received a code:net when I was tabbed out. After that it was infinite loading again, only if I restart the game, I would connect.

It started a few days ago, I only managed to connect to a game 2 lucky times before I noticed a consistent problem. After that I managed to join once more after I rebooted my pc, then the issue continued.

What do I do to fix this? It seems like the problem is on my end but I everything else works fine + other games seem to be fine too!

I'm on Steam, PC. Tried to play on EA app, same issue.

  • @EA_Barry I’ve tried them all but can’t see any change… at this point idk what to do. Except getting a new console
