Cross progression message popped up but then nothing happened?

When I logged into apex today I saw the message the said "Cross Progression is Here!" and out of muscle memory just clicked it away and started up the game. The second pop up telling me what accounts had been merged never popped up even after restart. I have my old account (which was on xbox) linked to my new PC one. I'm just wanting to know if I did something wrong or if this has happened to anyone else.

Hi @SWAGLEGION

If the EA account you are trying to link the Xbox to is the original account you should not get this message.

This might indicate it was linked to a different one, I would recommend reaching out to our support to further investigate this.

@SWAGLEGION Exactly the same thing happened to me just now, the only difference is that the profile i want to merge is on ps. Pls let me know if u have any information how to fix this in the future.

The same thing happened to me. Kind of annoying. Was excited at first, but then, silence.

HI @SWAGLEGION

To confirm if you unlinked your Xbox from an older EA account to the new one on PC you will not retain your progress as progress is stored on the EA account level, not individual platforms like Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, etc.

In order to attempt to recover your items and progress you will need to link the Xbox back to its original EA account.

I can not link the xbox account to the original EA account due to it only letting me link a xbox account to a EA account once in the accounts lifetime
