Cross Progression Rank reset?

I recently received Cross Progression. I have been playing on my PlayStation since the beginning of the season. My PlayStation rank was Masters (25,796 LP)

After receiving Cross Progression: my Xbox account (playing since season 0) took over. This is understandable because it was a way higher level.

I have noticed that I have been put back into my 10 provisional Matches…

Respawn communicated rank would be locked to each respective Console.

Why do I have to re grind all the way to Masters again in the console I’ve already done that on?

@TheUnfuhwitable I will now have no shot at contending with the predator LP cap as I am being set back another 25,000 LP.

Same exact thing happened to me, I’m not gonna play any ranked matches until this is fixed. I still have my diamond but it has the provisional matches circle around it. I really hope enough people talk about this.

Yeah that's really unfortunate. Happening to my friends too ☹️

I really hope those placement matches don't completely reset our ranks.

Just had my cross progression happen and same thing happened to me as well.. Please give back original rank that i was!!

@TheUnfuhwitable I supposed to be still in predator with 32k+LP today, but after cross progression I am now in master, what happend???

@TheUnfuhwitable When you enabled crossprog you switched yourself from the console leaderboard to PC, and pred cap on PC is currently much higher than your respective console

this is what happened on me, I suppossedly predator right now, but I am on master, how to undo the cross-progression? so I get back to my console pred cap?

Unfortunately you cannot opt out of cross progression, that’s just the way it is now… not gonna lie Respawn really screwed me over here. I’m really hoping for a solution. Have you been put into provisional matches too though?

@Eldestj I play on a console, still have the same LP but I just lost my predator due to a higher pred cap on PC, just weird, console player but PC cap predator, LOL

My friend hit diamond this season but after he obtained Cross Play it says that he has to play 10 provisional matches (he still has the diamond logo near his name though.)

is it safe for him to continue playing ranked to try to grind for Masters or will this glitch set him back?
