Crossplay Lobby Sync Issues in Apex Legends (PS5 & PC)

I’m experiencing an issue in Apex Legends that happens frequently when I play with my friends via crossplay.

I'm on a PlayStation 5, and my friends are on PC. When we form a party in the main lobby, everything appears normal: we can see each other, chat, and ready up. However, when the match starts, my friends enter the game - but I remain stuck in the lobby, even though I was marked as ready with them. From my perspective, it looks like I’m still in the party, but I never load into the game.

This happens quite often. Usually, my friends get into the match, and no one else gets added to their squad - almost as if the game is holding my spot but not actually putting me into the match. On my screen, I just see “... players in queue,” and nothing happens.

Sometimes, the reverse happens - I enter the game by myself, and they get left behind in the lobby.

I’d appreciate your help in understanding what’s causing this. Is this a known issue with crossplay or private lobby sync? Is there a setting I need to adjust in my EA account or game client?

I’ve already triple-checked all my privacy settings across both PlayStation and EA.
