Data Center for South Africa?

The game is great and for sure there's lots of players in this region ( + Indian Ocean) who want to enjoy the game & throw some cash within a better network/connection infrastrutcture.

EA , please reconsider : you will make money and overall good publicity from running datacenter in this region.

+1 for SA servers. We have servers for the BF games (except BFV for some reason) so it should'nt be that difficult imo. 

On reddit AMA, Game Director was a bit elusive on the possibility of a SA server.

South Africa now has AWS infrastructure in CapeTown wich btw seems to not have the Gamelift feature to host game servers (yet?)

But even if EA miraculously decide to put money in server rental & we log into a SA data center => for the sake of creating matches asap and not wait several minutes in queue , we'll still be "matchmaked" with players from different regions on a random server (not necessarily SA) and potentially suffer from high latency/PL.

Apart from main gaming market$ (US, EU, Asia), the other regions are considered subpar : these are facts.

A datacenter in South Africa would really help us gamers in Africa as we are currently playing on 171-250 ping on a regular, Especially after the recent server fix our condition went from bad to worse as before the server fix atleast i had access to belgium servers where i got 140 ping but now im forced to play on amsterdam where i get 191 ping and the belgium servers now show 290 ping.The gaming experience on such high pings is terrible. I don't even play apex that much anymore because of terrible ping.

Clearly EA doesnt care about Africa , we are receiving a africa legend before we receive a server

this cleary shows that apex only thinks about money and marketing 

why do certain cities have more than 2 servers, but an entire continent doesnt even have one?!!!

I am an Electrical Design engineer, our company builds data centers all over Africa. Aside from this I have contacts in the industry who also build data centers and rent servers. If EA needs support in renting out or even construction of their own data centers I am willing to help out.

I know many friends, who know more people that love Apex Legends but sometimes opt to play other games because of lack of good connection.
