Did not receive loss forgiveness when my partner quit. No fix.

Grabbed my teammate's banner in the last game I played, spawned a beacon in 10 seconds and he quit before I respawned him. As a result my partner and I played like we had loss forgiveness and died. After the game I stepped away for a second and to my surprise I lost 43 points. I'm not sure exactly why I got charged. Whether it was a technicality, like teammate reconnecting right before we wiped (pretty sure thats not it because his banner did not work at the beacon and his player card disappeared), or a bug. 

I talked to a customer service representative and they said they cannot refund points. Maybe there really isn't a lever you can pull, but I feel like you could make one.  A player should not have to fight a system or technical bug in addition to the traditional woes of ranked play. I don't think that is unreasonable. As a day one player, and avid advocate for Respawn Entertainment as one of the best in the industry, I find this very disheartening. I hope this post catches somebody's attention and a fix is applied. If not, I hope some people will see this post with no solution and avoid getting invested in apex legends.
