Disconnected from Ranked

I was watching my teammates in the top 4 and all 3 of us was up 200 np points and while I was watching them in the final rings I got disconnected unexpectedly back to the menu saying unexpected error has happened i loaded back in and was placed back in lobby losing all my rank points I worked for and was hoping to get then back. I wanna know why I was disconnected as well.
