DICE TeamJust to understand you correctly, you want to run 1080p on your 4k screen but also, be able to tab out without Apex minimize to the desktop.
Normally you would need to run games in Window mode for this to work, but window mode scales to your screen resolution aka to 4K. If you put the desktop in 1080p would be a work around. @DOGEATER714

is there anyway to add this request for them to implement into the game?
It is default Windows behavior to return the desktop to it's original resolution once you tab out.
The only way I can think of games working any different is if you run borderless and the game has a resolution scale you then set to 25% as 1080p is 1/4th of 4K and yes in that case the Apex team would need to implement a resolution scale. Until then, as Atic says, I believe setting the monitor to 1080p before playing is the solution.
sounds dumb but i play on a big TV @ 60hz. when i set it on 1080p it turns into a tiny 1080p screen lol.
