Duos on home router cause connection error

Every time I party up on Apex with my daughter on Xbox we play one game and then after every time one of us gets the network error. It is not the router or broadband. We have super fast and a pro gamer router and it was working fine before. We can play separately fine at the same time but as soon as we duo it breaks. Any ideas?
